What is the Lighting product warranty?
The lighting track and covers come with a 10-year product manufacturer limited warrant. All lights come with a 3-year product manufacturer limited warranty.
How long do the lighting products last?
The base and lid are designed to withstand the sun, rain and snow for up to 20 years. The entire solution is weatherproof and the LEDs we use have 50K hours of life.
What certifications does the lighting product hold?
The lighting product is IP65 or IP67 rated depending on the product (independent of the lid), FCC and IC Certified, and UV Stabilized. The power supply solutions meet all safety standards and are certified for UL/ETL, CE, IP65.
What does the Lighting look like during the day?
The lighting track is designed to look like trim molding during the day. The track lid comes in four basic colors: white, tan, gray, and chocolate brown. The track is a light gray color. There is also a black base and black lid available. For an additional fee we can paint the cover to match the color of your home (note: this will prolong installation process).
How long do the lights last?
Our LEDs are rated for 50K hours. With proper usage, and care, they can last 10+ years.
Are the lights replaceable?
Yes. They are low voltage and easy to replace.
What happens if a light goes bad?
We simply replace the old light with a new one whenever a light fails. The lights are installed in sections so we only have to replace sections with a bad light. This allows us to minimize replacement costs and time.
Installation Warranty
What type of on-going support do I get?
Within the first 60 days after install, all labor and parts requiring replacement are covered by us. Also within that first 60 days we support the app and help you learn how to control the lights and lighting schedules.

Can I link multiple buildings together?
Yes. The lighting controllers use a long range Bluetooth mesh network to seamlessly connect multiple controllers.
Are the lights capable of doing multiple colors at the same time?
The lighting system has multiple color changing effects that are both moving and static. With customizable RGB color selections, you can create new colors using the sliders, the color wheel, or the preselected standard colors. You can also create a static repeating color pattern with up to 4 colors, for example red/white/blue repeating or red/white/blue/white repeating. There is also the option to create color bands (you can repeat 3 white/3 red bulbs). The system comes with hundreds of effects or shows and presets or scenes.
Can I control the lights remotely?
Yes, the lighting has an optional BLE-WiFi-Ethernet gateway that connects the lighting controllers to the internet. From there the app is used just as if it was local.
Can I set the lights to run on a schedule?
Yes, color changing events are custom scheduled on the Blueroots App from any iOS or Android compatible smartphone or tablet. The timer is built into the system so no need to add your own. There is also a battery backup in the controller to preserve the schedule in the event of a power outage. You can create year long schedules, set and forget.
Can I use timers?
Yes, you can save multiple nightly & weekly timers as well as calendar events for holidays and other special occasions.
Can I make my own accent lighting?
Yes you can!
